Note: Agents must complete training by September 30, 2015

Is AHIP required?

No. Agents may complete AHIP or Gorman for Core and Compliance and FWA equivalencies.

Note: New this year, Regence will no longer pay for agents to take the Medicare rules and regulations training through Gorman. (This is because most agents are meeting this requirement with AHIP training.) However, Gorman will offer a retail core training for those agents that don’t want to use AHIP to meet this requirement.

What is cost of AHIP?

It costs the standard $175 fee. Regence does not offer a discount on AHIP training.

Can AHIP be used for compliance credit?

Yes

Does Carrier reimburse for AHIP?

No

Is face to face training required?

No

Will certifying for 2016 allow me to sell 2015 products?

No. Agents must complete the training specific to the year they selling in.

Does first time certification differ from re-certification?

Yes. Agents must recertify annually per CMS guidelines

How do I retrieve my User Name and Password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the “forgot password?” link. If you have forgotten your username, you can use your SSN or FEIN instead.
