  • Commission checks are mailed on Thursday, no charge for paper check.
  • Direct deposits are generally available on Friday.
  • Commission statements are mailed on a weekly basis.
  • For paper checks the minimum check amount will be $50.00.
  • Minimum EFT is $25.00.
  • 1099 is not produced for amounts under $600.00.

Life/Final Expense

Log onto Sales Professional Access (SPA). To access SPA:

  • The first time you visit SPA, you’ll use your seven-digit Producer I.D. to create your username and password which you’ll use each time you log in.

To Access Your Commission Statements:

  • Retrieve current and historical (2 years) commission statements. Click on Reports tab and then click Compensation (Brokerage), select weekly for current report or historical for past reports. An e-mail notification is sent when new statements are available. Statements are generally available on Thursday and reflect the following day’s pay.

If I have commission questions, whom do I contact?

Where is my compensation statement located?

  • Compensation statements are only available online on SPA. Go to the Reports tab on SPA and click Brokerage Compensation link to view your compensation statement online. Generally, statements will be available each Thursday for that Friday pay.

What is the minimum threshold for commissions to be disbursed?

  • The weekly minimum pay threshold for Direct Deposit is $25. Balances under the threshold will be paid out at the beginning of the following year.

When will my compensation appear in my bank account?

  • Generally, compensation will be paid each Friday (once threshold is met). The pay schedule is adjusted for any company or bank holidays. Refer to your bank’s processing schedule for when funds appear in your bank account.

How will I be notified that a compensation statement is available to view?

  • You will receive an e-mail with a link to SPA when a new statement is available to view.

What is the weekly pay schedule and is it subject to change?

  • The Weekly Pay Schedule calendar is posted under the Reports Tab, then General Compensation Information on SPA. The schedule lists the cutoffs for application submission. No, it is not subject to change with the exception of holidays, which are highlighted on the weekly pay schedule.

How long will my compensation statement be available online?

  • Your statements will be available for 2 years plus current starting with 2010 statements. eg, your 2011 statements will be retained until January 1, 2014.

Is search functionality available to find a specific policy number or client name on the compensation statement?

  • Yes, the Adobe product provides this functionality. To enable this functionality do a “CTRL” F and then enter the client name, policy number or other data and enter.

Direct Deposit
How do I sign up for Direct Deposit or make changes to my Direct Deposit?

  • The Direct Deposit change option is on SPA, posted under the Support Tab, click on Direct Deposit link in the Self Service area.

Will I be notified when the Direct Deposit set up or change has been completed?

  • Yes, you will receive an e-mail verifying that your new bank information has been processed.
